Hoaxed.

Got fairly hoaxed this morning, surf was foul, windy, slush and a dirty brown colour so i couldnt really find anywhere that was decent or good enough for me to get into my wet wetty . I did see the first bit of blue sky in a few days tho. Come on autumn!

A heap of different lanscape photos from the end of last year and start of this year.

If you cover up the bottom it looks like jupiter or some planet.
I can't wait for some clean autumn swells.

Pristine beachs and waters.

Fish eye Slow shutter.

Would need a light to see in this one.1
Heavy.2
Two surfers paddled out and gave it a crack but i can tell you that they werent to keen once they saw how big it really was, one ended up with a snaped board.
Foamy.
It was breaking on a very shallow sand bar as you can see.
Slushy one.
Pj Hadley straight of the plane from hawaii haha.
I went down to check the surf thinking that maybe two way lake would be pumping or moffs shoreys but they were terrible so i chose to drive around to were the winds would be hitting but were there could be some pumping waves and above is what i saw. Hopefully we get some real clean blue water barrels soon since it is Autumn.

Mooloolaba again.

Last wave before i headed in.
Looking through at the storm cloud.

Surfer just fitting into it.
Surfer.

Swell has picked up alot over the last couple of days but so have the ESE winds making it very hard to get a wave. Plus its all just wind swell to meaning the protected places arent as big. But heres a few shots from this morning out Mooloolaba, i got there a bit late because i was only out for a bit before tide changed and winds picked up and water went back to the foul brown colour.

Lachlan Cramsie and the Chocolate Factory.

It was so dark in these closeouts that it was dificault to get it focused on Lachlan. This would be one of my favourite shots if it was in focus.
Stoked on the Chocolate Barrel.
Lachlan Cramsie, High fives housing.
Had a fun muck around at Mooloolaba with Lachlan Cramsie, as you can see the water was a dark and dirty brown because of all the rain we have had in the last 2 days. Sorry about some of the shots turning out blurry or out of focus, the lighting in the barrels was fairly bad. Enjoy.

January Madness.

Strange.
Joey Orme.
Joey Orme.
Some old shots from one awesome afternoon, that included me wiping out onto dry cundgee on a bombie while i used sams board, i came up with quite a headache and a scratched up back. I decided to take my camera back after that. The 3 above images are from one afternoon this one week when we had back to back swells all 3foot and over, Now all we need is some autumn perfection. I havent been able to take any photographs lately because its been torrential rain and i just dont have the motivation to swim around in the rain at the moment.

Sunny coast kids.

Joey Orme.
Steven Venn.
Joesurf.

For the last couple of weeks id come home from work or surfing and just check Ben Lees blog in hope of seeing some perfect shots of the North shore, i was also hoping for a picture of joey on a massive pipe bomb so when i saw the above shot i was stoked, its weird how so much talent comes from sunshine coast, must be something to do with trying master bodyboarding in the terrible conditions so when you get a chance to hit the good stuff you can really launch off that section or ride deeper in that pit and just surf a whole lot smoother. Anyway congratulations to Joey Orme for making it to the second round and Drew Innocend making it through many rounds.
All shots above by Ben Lee. Make sure you check his blog and website.

About Me

My photo
Photography has become a great passion of mine, and one day i hope to be as good as Clark little,Phil Gallagher, Trent mitchell and Ben Lee, i am setting my goals very high in the hope that i can achieve something close to what these guys do. But in the meantime i am just trying to learn as much about photography as i can while working and having fun.I am not just some kid who picked up a camera and said im a photographer, my dad has taken photos for his whole life which is a major reason why i picked up a camera. surf photography may be my main focus at the moment but i love all areas of photography.
